Gravel riding may be a "new" sport, but the Diverge Sport Carbon has been developed with over four decades of experience. It features our Future Shock 1.5 and a FACT 8r carbon frame for a fast, confident and comfortable ride on the road, off-road and over thick gravel. With the gravel-inspired SRAM Apex 1 1x11 drivetrain and DT Swiss G540 wheels, the Diverge Sport is as capable as it is versatile. With Kanza's award-winning Pathfinder Pro 38mm tires, which we also use on the S-Works Diverge, you're ready to go as fast and as far as you want.
- With its FACT 8r carbon frame, the Diverge Sport frame is incredibly capable and as light as a road bike. Whether you're going for your local dirt climb KOM or scaling a huge peak in the backcountry, the light and lively Diverge will get you there faster.
- Speed, control and confidence - Future Shock 1.5 is the ideal technology for gravel riders. With 20 mm of axial compliance, Future Shock 1.5 is progressive and specifically tuned for gravel riding. This allows you to maintain confidence and control, keep power down and avoid braking on rough gravel roads and in dense, loose gravel, while keeping your hands, arms and neck fresh.
- We've thrown the gravel geometry status quo out the window. The new Diverge has the most progressive geometry we've ever developed for a dropbar bike, giving the rider a capable and stable bike off-road that still feels responsive and agile on the road. We've increased the reach of the frame, introduced a slacker head tube and a longer offset fork. All this makes for incredible confidence and a plush feel off-road, while the use of shorter stems keeps the overall length of the cockpit the same and the steering response lively. We've kept the bike's bottom bracket low to increase stability, but high enough to use with 650b wheels if that's what you're into.
- We've equipped the Diverge with numerous rack mounts, including fork and top tube mounts, to ensure you can carry everything you need, no matter how far you want to ride or how long you want to be on the road.
- Nothing shows off a bike's capabilities like tire clearance. That's why we've given the new Diverge a tire clearance of 47 mm with a 700c wheel and 2.1" with a 650b wheel. Thanks to a drive-side chainstay that uses a solid carbon beam behind the chainrings, we've created clearance without using a fragile chainstay design or increasing chainstay length.
